Lofts on Burr

Lofts on Burr was an excellent weekend stay for our family when we were in Barnwell, SC for my son’s wedding. The rooms are modern, very comfortable, had good wifi and they enjoyed the coffee bar which was restocked during their stay. We rented all of the rooms and also had use of the conference and event space which was a great option for guests to congregate and we brought in breakfast and snacks.

Great, clean room. Very cool setup. Checking in and out was seamless. Never saw a person. Cute diner with good sandwiches right outside the door on street level. Definitely the best accommodations in Barnwell.

We stayed here with family for a funeral. From making online reservations to checking in and out digitally, everything was seamless. Communication with management was quick and accommodating. The large conference room/area was available for us to congregate and the near by restaurants and shopping were within walking distance. (Recommend Red Hill Grill!) The coffee bar down the hall in the hotel was perfect and well stocked. The bed was heavenly, the room was spotless and had everything we needed. This is a hidden gem in Barnwell.

The Lofts on Burr is my second time staying there, and I absolutely love it. The rooms are spacious and clean, making for a very comfortable experience. The service is excellent, and the response time is prompt. Whenever I reach out for anything, even if it's just a minor request, someone responds quickly with assistance or a solution. The location is both safe and convenient; there's a restaurant next door with fantastic service, and their breakfast burrito is delicious. Additionally, I appreciate that you can easily walk to the police and fire department, which is one black away. CVS and a gas station are also within walking distance, while Walmart is less than a 10-minute drive away. This is my go-to place whenever I visit Denmark, SC.

Our family stayed at The Lofts from September 11-14, 2025. We used all of the rooms available as well as the hospitality room. By using the hospitality room, we were able to congregate at the conference table and set up food for our group. It was football Saturday, so when we weren’t at the wedding, we were able to watch college football. When someone got tired or needed alone time, they simply went to their room. The well-stocked coffee area, microwave, and hall refrigerator came in handy. We ate several times at the Red Hill Restaurant and once at The Country Corner Cafe. We enjoyed each and would highly recommend both. Several people ate at the Huddle House, and it was horrible! The rooms were impeccable! They were very, very clean and well appointed. The only suggestion I can recommend is to have hooks in the bathroom on the back of the doors and the walls to hang linen/clothes. I stayed in the ADA rm on the first floor. The room was BEAUTIFUL. The room was spacious with a King size bed, mini-fridge, microwave and a large screen TV. The room was accessible via a ramp with handicapped parking available. The bathroom had an elevated toilet seat and walk-in shower. The owner of this business is attentive to detail and goes out of the way to make sure your stay is nice. Unfortunately I couldn't get upstairs to see the other rooms, but the place is located in a nice part of town with several restaurants and fast food places nearby.

It was a really great experience. The history of the building was most interesting as we have family in the area and they had seen the doctor in the past whom had an office in the building. Room was exceptionally clean and that was very important to us. Beds were very comfortable. Over all 5'star experience.

We were in Barnwell for My Grandson’s Wedding! The Loft was a Great Place to Stay it was only minutes from the Wedding Venue the Room was Spacious along with the Bath. The Conference Room was Wonderful the whole family gathered there for fun! The People at Loft were Great it made our trip so Easy checking in and out.
